Protein PACKED Power Bites


These small little power bites are packed with AMAZING super foods:

You could consider these perfect bites of health. Whether you are vegetarian or not, these bites are loaded with plant based protein that will you keep you fueled all day long. I have two of them every afternoon to keep me going and not randomly snacking on sweets. 

I got all the ingredients at Whole Foods. It may seem a little pricey to start, but I promise the ingredients last a long time and you will ABSOLUTELY want to make them again. Make a batch on Sunday and indulge all week. 



Ingredients :

1 & 1/4 cup Dates (medjool or any other date of your choice)
2 tbsp Chia Seeds
1 tbsp Coconut oil 
1 tbsp Hemp Seed
1 tbsp Cacao Powder
3/4 cup Almonds
3/4 cup Walnuts
3/4 cup Pecans 
2 tbsp Flax seed 

Instructions:

1. Prior to starting your bites soak the dates in warm water for up to one hour (They blend much easier if soaked first) 

2. Combine all nuts in a food processor and grind until a smooth powder is created. (You can choose how smooth you want the nuts to be, sometimes I make it more chunky...just depends on your mood that week)

3. Add dates and process until you have a thick paste

4. Add remaining ingredients in food processor and blend until combined

5. Create 1 inch balls of the mixture & refrigerate until use
